This is one of the major reasons that this blog has been quiet for so long:

Interlocking Crochet Granny Squares Baby Blanket

I had been working like mad to get this baby blanket finished for a coworker.  The baby shower was last Wednesday, I finished the blanket on Sunday and washed it on Monday - one day to spare!  Since the blanket is double-sided, it took twice as long to complete as a typical blanket.  However, it will be nice and cozy for the winter.  It also ended up a lot bigger than I was thinking it would be.  The pattern is from this book:  Interlocking Crochet.  Lots of other patterns in there I am looking forward to trying.  However, my next project will be much less labor-intensive.

The other reason this blog has been quiet is because we took a two-week trip to Europe last month.  I just today uploaded the pictures from our camera, so look for a post or two sometime soon!
