Off the Hook - Severin Pullover

After making so many projects over the past few years for others, it has been nice to make things for Eben!  I made three blankets for him before his arrival, but this sweater is one of the first things specifically for him.  I used the Severin Pullover pattern.

According to the pattern, it is six-month size, which Eben is currently wearing.  However, the sweater is too big (especially in the length of the arms) and seems more like a nine-month size.

I was mildly obsessed with crochet cables at the time, and I quite like how they turned out.

The buttons are from my great-grandmother's button box; they are old, but I don't know exactly how old.

I used a finer-weight yarn for this project, and it took a long time!  I am so glad to be finally finished, and I can't wait for it to fit.

I've also made a few hats and some booties for Eben; I'm sure there will be more hats in the future.
